Our first show of the year has opened and the theatre seems to be coping well with the epic food fight that occurs each night. It's a crazy, chaotic slice of madcap madness that seems to be delighting and offending audiences in equal measure. More details about No Taste Forever are below!

Our new Business Manager, Jim Rush, started last week so feel free to drop in and say hello. He's a Scorpio cusp who moonlights as a music promoter, so hopefully he'll be directing some great bands in the direction of the Pit Bar over the coming months.

We are also gearing up for the 2011 Fringe Festival - it's just over four weeks until the theatrical madness is unleashed on Wellington, so keep an eye out for the Fringe Programme which will be released any day now. Details on Fringe shows at BATS will be hitting our website this week, so make sure you check it out.

See you at the theatre!

"...if you’re into picking morsels from a welter of goodies to re-energise your theatrical taste-buds, give it a go." - (John Smythe, Theatreview)

The human race is under attack from an insidious force. Nutritionist Malcolm Sweet realises something is wrong when his morbidly obese patients start dropping like flies. When a little girl is crushed beneath the wheels of his SUV, crying for her ice cream, Malcolm knows for certain that something terrifying has a hold over the human race and he’s determined to find out what it is. What he discovers will shock you to the pit of your stomach.

Coming Right Up...

The Love of Your Life

by Kate McGIll and Emma Draper

February 1st - 5th @ 8pm (5 nights only!)

Described as a cross between Summer Heights High and Lost, The Love of Your Life is a Doco-Fable, a modern NZ fairytale about an island that thrives on making the best of a situation. It is not necessarily about the lady or fella who holds your hand at the flicks. But it could be too.

We had an overwhelming response to last weeks competition for No Taste Forever tickets, and my mouth was watering at all the food suggestions that flooded my inbox. The lucky winners (who both receive a double pass) are Noa Malaulau and Beth Brash. Congrats! See you at the theatre!
