Seven days to vote your television favourites

Seven days to vote your television favourites

Television viewers have seven days left to vote for their favourites in the country’s biggest People’s Choice Awards.

This year’s TV Guide Best on the Box Awards is brimming with hot new contenders battling against television veterans to be the people’s choice.

It’s a contest of old versus new in some of the most hotly contested categories with the likes of newbie to the Best on the Box Awards Sara Tetro (New Zealand’s Next Top Model) vying against three-time award winner Robyn Malcolm for the title of Sexiest Woman.

Now it’s up to the viewers to decide this year’s winners. All entries will go into the draw to win one of five MY SKY HDi decoders (including installation), 12 months' subscriptions to SKY Basic package, SKY Sport and SKY Movies.

In last year’s competition, more than 200,000 votes were cast across 27 categories. This year’s awards mark the introduction of a new category which, for the first time, will give voters the opportunity to name their favourite television channel.

Voting closes on March 4 at 5pm with winners announced in the March 17 issue of the magazine. To vote online, visit www.tv-guide.co.nz/botb2011.
