Bespoke Jewellery Attracting Interest

Bespoke Jewellery Attracting Interest

A unique piece of jewellery is attracting interest on Trade Me.

Being auctioned to raise money for the Court Theatre redevelopment in Addington, the bespoke pendant has been donated by Christchurch jewellery designer and long time Court supporter, Julian Harding, and was already sitting at $1010 at 4.30pm this afternoon.

Artistic Director, Ross Gumbley, says the hand-crafted sterling silver piece is eye catching and would be a wonderful addition to the collection of any discerning woman.

“The piece is sterling silver with the comedy and tragedy theatre masks above the inspirational words “The Show Goes On” which is absolutely the goal of all of us at The Court and the huge number of supporters outside the company as well.”

It is obviously the goal of many around the region, country and further afield with the generosity of people donating to the fundraising campaign.

“We have had donations from thousands of people and a donation from Pub Charity last month has boosted the campaign by $500,000. Other donations currently put the total raised at close to the million dollar mark. $4.6m is needed for the new development in Addington, planned to open before the end of the year,” says Ross Gumbley.

The Trade Me auction finishes at 5pm this Sunday 24 July, and those keen to support the Court can find out more on the website, donate at any BNZ bank (mention the Court Theatre) or by calling the freephone 0800 333 100
