ZOMBIE PROM this Halloween

ZOMBIE PROM this Halloween

95bFM, NO magazine, & Lonely Hearts present ZOMBIE PROM Saturday 29th October at The Powerstation With 1995 [http://www.myspace.com/1995band], Evil Twins [https://www.facebook.com/pages/evil-twins/122020381174426?sk=info], Mellow Grave [http://soundcloud.com/mellowgrave], O'Lovely [https://www.facebook.com/OLOVELYMUSIC?sk=wall&filter=2], and two more headliners to be announced!

Auckland radio station 95bFM, fashion/pop culture publication No Magazine, and clothing label Lonely Hearts are excited to announce their second annual Hallowe'en party! Back this Hallow's Eve bigger and better and open to the public so YOU can get your goth on too.

95bFM has chosen some of our favourite ethereal-slash-kinetic bands and shoved them into the all-black Powerstation (home of Auckland's best sightlines and fastest bartenders) to be the soundtrack to your Hallowe'en.

Long-time bFM fan- and playlist-favourites 1995 [http://www.myspace.com/1995band] have taken time out of writing their first full-length album to come throw down at the Powerstation; Evil Twins [https://www.facebook.com/pages/evil-twins/122020381174426?sk=info] are the latest two-piece venture from Charlotte Gallichan-Stewart & Lucy Stewart, who you'll recognize from various musical outfits that populate Whammy & Wine Cellar on any given night including Las Tetas & the Drab Doo-Riffs; Summer Series alumni O'Lovely [https://www.facebook.com/OLOVELYMUSIC?sk=wall&filter=2] recently finished their national album release tour in support of Constellations; and Mellow Grave [http://soundcloud.com/mellowgrave] are the Witch-House purists that are pretty appropriate for a rockin' Hallowe'en gig.

This is a DRESS UP party, complete with Lonely Hearts lingerie-clad zombie girls and 'Prom King and Queen' prizes from Lonely Hearts [http://lonelyheartslabel.portableshops.com/] to be awarded for best costumes. Last year brought out the best of the best, so be prepared for some fierce competition!

No Magazine [http://www.nomagazine.co.nz/home] will also be showcasing their new fashion film at the show, a David Lynch-esque creation produced in collaboration with Veronica Crockford-Pound.

Tickets on sale October 10th. $25 + BF from Ticketmaster.co.nz, $15 with your bCard from the bFM offices only (bCard discount not available at Ticketmaster).

bCards available from the bFM offices, online [http://www.95bfm.com/default,bcard.sm], Sitka Newmarket, and Real Groovy.
