Extra Action Packs out The Final Auckland Big Day Out

The final unveiling of the last ever bag of Big Day Out treats….

Aaron Carson, publisher and editor of OnePercent Magazine has handpicked a selection of seriously mean-ass hot rods, muscle cars and Kustoms for the return of the BDO Show n Shine. Featuring everything from an award winning 1932 Ford roadster and a big block V8 Impala to a super charged and six carburettored 35 Chevy and everything you can imagine in between, this years’ BDO Show n Shine will blow your mind. OnePercent magazine covers hot rods, motorcycle and real rock n roll – come get a taste of all three at the BDO Show n Shine.

The Lords of Lightning return again this year to BDO, this time with a new high voltage display. For the first time, we present "Audio Mega Pulser" (A.M.P)... a 6 metre high structure resembling a giant speaker. With a powerful Tesla coil at its heart, A.M.P becomes a spectacular display of lightning and mesmerizing sound!

Cassette 9’s live art is back for second year. Ten artists creating works inspired by the Big Day Out to be auctioned after for charity.

The Motorola Foam Dome & DJ Lounge will definitely be the most fun foam dance party you have ever been to, blasting beats under a massive foam gun which fires all day long onto its huge dance floor.

And carnival fun returns with amusements including the free Super Loop and pay-to-ride Turbo Boost thrill ride. This 40m high ride pulls 3.5 Gs, and spins at 120kmh.
