NZ Fringe Festival 2012 Programme Launched into Wellington!

The NZ Fringe Festival proudly launched the Fringe Programme for 2012 at a gathering at Meow Café, Thursday 26th January.

Hosted by fabulous musician Adam Page, the evening was a celebration of creativity, innovation and fringetastic fun, with the participants unveiling the programme surprising the sponsors, media and dignitaries with an exuberant procession of Fringe!

In the first outing for the newly formed Creative Capital Arts Trust, the importance of the Fringe was highlighted by Wellington City Councilor Ray Ahipene Mercer who spoke of the Fringe Festivals rich breading ground for emerging talent, something fresh, new and truly amazing.

CCAT producer Emma Giesen challenged all to get involved, support the frenzy, attend shows and join in the fun.
