New Apparel Brand for Kiwis

New Apparel Brand for Kiwis

Auckland, New Zealand, February 3, 2012 – When the Kiwis take the field against the Kangaroos at Eden Park on April 20, they’ll be the first team to don the BLK brand in this country.

BLK is the new premium brand of World Rugby Specialists (KooGa Australia), an organisation New Zealand Rugby League has proudly worked with and been supported by over the past three years.

Today the NZRL and WRS have announced a further three-year extension of their partnership, with the BLK brand first featuring at the NZRL’s Community Carnivals in February, then stepping into the major spotlight when the Kiwis take the field in April.

Catherine Casey, the Managing Director of BLK (pronounced ‘Black’) in New Zealand, is excited about launching the brand here when the Kiwis face the Kangaroos.

“The BLK team is committed to go beyond the international standard by producing the most advanced, performance-enhancing sports apparel in the world today,” says Catherine. “It is fantastic that the Kiwis will be launching the BLK brand in New Zealand.”

Along with playing kit, BLK will also provide training and lifestyle gear to the Kiwis and will become the official apparel sponsor for other NZRL sanctioned teams and events.
