A light-hearted look at Christchurch – our recent history, including the current earthquake situation, as well as right back to the colonists and Ngāi Tahu – all done in under 90 minutes.
The show will be performed by The Outwits, a well-known talented group made up of experienced performers: Greg Cooper, Jared Corbin and Andrew Ford. Mark Hadlow has also performed with The Outwits and has taken time out from his work on The Hobbit to direct this unique and inspiring performance as a way, along with the boys, of giving something back to the people of Christchurch.

activities undertaken at the Avice Hill Craft Centre and by
the local community. The event features craft stalls,
displays, food stalls, ‘have-a-go’ craft activities,
live jazz plus a range of children’s entertainment.

Violinist and composer Fiona Pears and her
talented band, featuring Ian Tilley on piano, Mike Ferrar on
guitar and Peter Fleming on double bass, will perform music
ranging from hot, sizzling gypsy swing, soulful classical
and jazz ballads through to tango and celtic
compositions.
