Canterbury Runway 2012 Winter fashion Collections at Ellerslie

Canterbury Runway are Joining Forces with The Ellerslie International Flower Show for One Massive Fashion Event

On March 8th 2012 Canterbury Runway is hosting Christchurch’s leading high fashion show. This ever popular event is set to be bigger and better this year as it combines with the renowned International Ellerslie Flower Show. The Canterbury Runway Show is to be held in North Hagley Park in Christchurch, starting at 6.30pm and finishing at 9.15pm.

The Canterbury Runway Show will begin with a tour of the flower gardens. Guests will then be directed to a fashion marquee where a display by hair salon Corkin & Friends will demonstrate the latest hair trends from New York. Finally Christchurch’s top designers and retailers will showcase their latest winter fashion collections. Retailers displaying their newest winter lines will include: Andrea Moore, Trelise Cooper, Sergios, Miriam E, Barkers, Jane Daniels, Annah Stretton, Morgan & Page, Moochi and Westfield. The night will end with an after party at Christchurch Casino, where attendees will dance the night away.

The recent tragedies in Christchurch have meant the city and its retailers have taken a big hit. The Canterbury Runway Show is a great opportunity for retailers to help recover and celebrate the year to come. Angela Stone, Fashion Event Director for Canterbury Runway was quoted “we need as much support as we can get to help raise people’s spirits here in Christchurch, and entertainment can help lift people up.”

Sponsors helping to make this event happen include: Metropol, Corkin & Friends, Revlon, Kristen Stewart School of Makeup, Archibalds Audi, Rendezvous Hotels Christchurch, Portfolio Model Agency, Roadside Attractions, Pernod Ricard, The Christchurch Casino and Mindfood Magazine.

The Canterbury Runway Show in conjunction with The Ellerslie International Flower Show would like to invite you to come and enjoy the festivities of this event. Tickets are $80 avalible through www.ellerslieflowershow.co.nz
