Media Release 10 February 2012

Kiwis Truly, Madly, Hugely in Love

Thousands of entries have been received for Westfield’s Truly, Madly, Hugely Valentine’s Day billboard campaign with Kiwis around New Zealand proving once again that they are true romantics.

Twelve messages of love submitted via the Westfield website between 20 January and 5 February are set to be unveiled as giant billboards in Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton and Christchurch on 14 February 2012 (Valentine’s Day).

Marriage proposals, heartfelt poems and simple ‘I Love You’ messages were the most popular entries to this year’s competition.

“Valentine’s Day is a time for Kiwis to tell someone special they are truly loved and what better way to say it than a giant billboard” says Linda Trainer, Westfield Shopping Centres General Manager. “We’re hugely honored to be able to help with such a significant gesture of love.”
