Reece Mastin - Winner of The X-Factor Australia – Adds Napier Show to New Zealand Tour
Due to overwhelming demand, Reece Mastin, winner of The X-Factor Australia, has added a Napier date to his upcoming tour of New Zealand.
Reece will now perform four New Zealand shows, playing Christchurch’s CBS Canterbury Arena on April 10th, Wellington’s TSB Arena on April 12th, Auckland’s Vector Arena on April 14th, and Napier’s Pettigrew Green Arena on April 16th
With his unique rocker style, Reece Mastin has quickly become a firm favourite with kiwi fans. His single Good Night shot straight to #1 on the iTunes New Zealand chart following the local broadcast of The X-Factor Australia final, and has continued to hold the top spot since. Good Night debuted on New Zealand’s Top 40 Single Chart at #2 after less than two days sales, and last week moved to #1, generating the highest seven-day sales of any single so far in 2012.
Reece’s self-titled album debuted at #1 on the New Zealand Top 40 Album chart last week, generating the highest first week album sales to date of 2012, and meaning that he currently holds the the #1 single AND album in New Zealand! Both album and single have now been certified gold.
Reece’s self-titled debut album features 11 new recordings of songs that he performed on The X-Factor Australia, including Paradise City (Guns N’ Roses), She Will Be Loved (Maroon 5), Joker And The Thief (Wolfmother) and I Kissed A Girl (Katy Perry), along with lead single Good Night.
