Cortesi: “I feel excited to be working with a talented group of young theatre makers in the structure of this Company. The company is a great opportunity to grow as an actor and at the same time make theatre with likeminded passionate people. I have big dreams for the Company and I am especially looking for anyone who wants to make a big commitment and investment in being part of Long Cloud Youth Theatre. The program is intense with two evening rehearsals/classes each week, and you need to be available in some weekends and holidays as well. It is like doing sports at a very high level.”

The members of the Company come from different ethnic and social backgrounds, high schools and Universities throughout the country. Long Cloud has proven to be a hothouse of New Zealand’s most exciting young acting talent, and many of the students have gone on to professional careers in the performing arts industry and further training establishments like Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School. Check out our latest work ASSISTED LIVING by Jo Randerson on at BATS Theatre from 23rd May - 9th June.
