15th June 2012

Marlborough Home & Garden Show expected to be a crowd pleaser and school holiday attraction

The countdown is on for the Marlborough Home and Garden Show and organisers are in celebration mode as it’s the fifth year this action packed event showcasing the latest in building, renovating and gardening trends is being staged in Blenheim.

More than one hundred exhibitors have been hand-picked to showcase their wares with show only specials on offer over the three days from the 6th 7th and 8th July at the Marlborough Lines Stadium 2000, Kinross Street.

Jade Promotions is the most experienced provider of home, garden and lifestyle shows producing ten shows nation-wide and this year the company hopes to hit a record with some 6,000 visitors to come through the doors at Kinross Street in Blenheim in three weeks!

Show Organiser Anne Joll says despite the economic downturn, without exception every show the company has hosted this year has had an increase in visitors ranging from between five and thirty per-cent.

“In a tough market you have to be innovative in your thinking, we continually strive to deliver successful high quality events for both exhibitors and the public and are hoping this year’s Marlborough Home & Garden Show will prove to be a real crowd pleaser.

“It’s timed over the school holidays so we have catered for the whole family, paint- a- pot and colouring in competitions for the kids, massive show only specials and for just coming to the show and entering the show prize competition one lucky person will walk away with more than $2,500 worth of household products,” said Mrs Joll.
