Tuesday 18 December 2012

SCIRT WORLD BUSKERS FESTIVAL presents
Le Gateau Chocolat
JANUARY 17–26

The 2013 SCIRT WORLD BUSKERS FESTIVAL is delighted to welcome the outrageous, larger-than-life, operatic star of La Soirée Le Gateau Chocolat with his sensational solo show from Thursday 17 to Saturday 26 January 2013.

Expect to be amazed, as this baritone diva treats his audience to a whirlwind of endless costume changes, a healthy dose of honesty, and a collective show-stopping finale. Le Gateau delivers everything from Bassey to Radiohead, infusing the stories of these songs with his own incredible tale.

From the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden and the Spiegeltent in Australia, to alternative Miss Ireland competitions and performing live with Basement Jaxx, this Nigerian-born London boy has delighted them all with his heartwarming show.

‘The biggest voice in town. We love Le Gateau Chocolat's powerhouse baritone, his megawatt grin... Global domination awaits!’ Time Out

‘Treasures of untold riches await the persons brave enough to watch’ LA Times

‘A visual feast, a booming vibrato, an incredible entertainer and an operatic diva. It’s beautiful, funny, sad but yet joyful, and at times extremely moving. An exquisitely beautiful show.’ Gay Times
