Want a free bungy jump?

Want a free bungy jump? Or to freefall from 20,000 feet? Join the Gravity Gives fundraiser.

The Gravity Gives Project (GGP) is an extreme fundraising event that involves leaping out of an airplane or launching yourself off a bungy platform. It takes place on 23-24 February to benefit Save the Children New Zealand. The event is off to a great start with some fantastic offers made by participating centres.

“We really want this to become the flagship project for raising money for hope,” says Greg Nelson, project founder and adventurist. “The New Zealand event is the one that will launch the project to a new level of awareness and fundraising potential. We are receiving fantastic support from skydiving and bungy centres around the area and we are really excited to make it a reality.”

With less than two weeks left to register, jumpers should get on board NOW, and visit the GGP website to sign up. Registration is free and jumpers can share their fundraising page with friends, family or colleagues. People wishing to support any of the jumpers can also visit the website and click on “Pledge a Jumper” to make a donation.

“The Gravity Gives Project not only facilitates a way to raise money for one of the world's most deserving charities, Save the Children, it also gives YOU the excuse you needed to jump off that bridge or fall out of that perfectly good airplane,” said Mike Heard, two-time New Zealand world record bungy jumper. “I will never forget my first skydive or bungy jump and because of that, I am always seeking that first jump feeling. Why not take on the challenge, and take the plunge to raise money for a great cause?”

Now is your chance to take advantage of some of these awesome promotions! Jumpers can contact any of the following locations to get involved:

• At Skydive Franz Josef Glacier the top three fundraisers at their drop zone will have the chance to go up to an incredible altitude of 20,000 feet for their skydive. For more information, visit the event page.

• At Taupo Bungy NZ they are offering a FREE bungy jump to the top five fundraisers! How can you pass up such a deal? For more information check out their promotion.

• With multiple locations, AJ Hackett Bungy NZ offers a wide range of bungy jumps for all levels of thrill seekers! Jumpers can try a bridge, a ledge or a swing while experiencing some of the most spectacular views around New Zealand.

Act now to be part of this extraordinary fundraising event and contact a centre near you. For more information about the GGP event, or to submit a donation to the project, visit www.gravitygivesproject.org.
