Jamie McDell Joins More FM Summer Vineyard Tour in Auckland

The More FM Summer Vineyard Tour is pleased to announce that up-coming singer/songwriter Jamie McDell will join OPSHOP, Missy Higgins, Che Fu and Aaradhna as the opening act for the Auckland show on February 23.

Jamie has had a huge year in 2012, with debut single ‘You’ll Never Take That Away’ rocketing to #1 on the NZ singles chart, quickly being certified GOLD. Her second single ‘Rewind’ was another #1 single and top 10 airplay while her latest track ‘Life In Sunshine’ has already achieved GOLD status on the NZ music charts and has peaked at #4 on the overall airplay chart.

With a voice and lyrics that display an emotive, earnest nature similar to Taylor Swift and a songwriting style reminiscent of Hawaiian acoustic guitar folk-man Jack Johnson, Jamie McDell’s songs are unashamedly pop and undoubtedly some of the country’s best loved.

Her debut album Six Strings And A Sailboat, debuted at #8 on the Top40 chart and is the album that Jamie McDell has been writing for as long as she knew how to play a guitar.

Don’t miss Jamie McDell’s special performance at the Auckland show of the More FM Summer Vineyard Tour on Saturday February 23rd at Turanga Creek Winery.
