“We are so stoked with the caliber of entries for the first year, the judges had their work cut out for them,” says festival director Nick Stevenson. “All of the selected feature films have never been screened in New Zealand so we are excited to be bringing them to NZ audiences for the first time. We are most excited about the global premiere for our ‘Best Feature Film’ winner, New Zealand film ‘Waverider,’ which is yet to be released. We know that this film will have a great impact on the audience and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
