Six60’s Auckland Show Sells Out

Just a week after Six60’s April Australasian Tour announcement, the band’s Auckland show on Friday April 12th has sold out.

Fans who have missed out on the Friday night Auckland show can still purchase tickets for newly added Auckland show on Thursday April 11th, also at The Powerstation.

This is the second show to sell out after one of the Christchurch shows sold out last week, just three days after going on sale.

This will be the band’s last Australasian Tour for a while as they head to Berlin after signing a deal with Sony’s Columbia Four Music to release their debut album in Europe.

Six60 has also teamed up with theaudience.co.nz to find a local support act in each city of their New Zealand April tour: Wellington, Napier, Auckland x 2, Hamilton, Christchurch x 2 and Dunedin.

It’s easy to enter – create a profile on theaudience.co.nz, entry is via the Artist Dashboard. The competition starts 9:00am Thursday 28 February and closes 5:00pm Friday March 22nd 2013.

The winning acts will be announced via Six60 and theaudience.co.nz’s facebook/twitter pages on the Monday prior to show date.

There will be a different opening band chosen for each of the eight gigs.
