WHERE: Thistle Hall, Cuba Street, Wellington

Based in an old diesel mechanics warehouse in Owhiro Bay, Wellington, Nautilus Creative Space is home to over 20 visual artists and countless musicians.

From jewellers, sculptors, and painters, to tattoo artists and furniture makers

artists of all types make up this inspired haven by the sea.

From the 18th of March, the public will get a rare treat as the artists from Nautilus emerge from their shell and showcase their work at Thistle Hall. The walls will be dripping with goodies and treasures of all flavours, including featured artists Bruce Mahalski, screen printer Bev Hong and the wondrous mixed media creations of Eryn Gribble.

Also for sale will be a range of functional items such as “Supernatural Elements” handmade natural health products, Global Wood Rework’s stunning recycled furniture, Goldbeard Guitar’s custom made guitars and Jean Burgers mandala and ‘flower of life’ jewellery.

Come and bask in this fantastic opportunity to experience the creativity and community of this amazing artistic co-operative.
