8th March 2013: To mark International Women’s Day - 8th March 2013 – leading music streaming service Spotify has today revealed America’s sweetheart Taylor Swift as the most streamed female artist in New Zealand.

Rounding out the top ten was Rihanna, Ke$ha, Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Australian vocalist Sia Furler.

Globally, hits such as Diamonds and We Found Love have helped chart-topper Rihanna take the top spot. Britney Spears and Taylor Swift closely followed as the second and third most streamed female artists by Spotify users all over the world.
