13 March 2013
SKYCITY Deep Stack Series Starts Next Week!

Poker players will be holding and folding for the SKYCITY Deep Stack Series at the SKYCITY Casino Poker Room next week.

With only 180 spaces available for the main event (60 for each day) it’s sure to be a sell out with the best players from around New Zealand travelling to Auckland for a chance to take home the trophy and the title of 2013 SKYCITY Deep Stack Series Main Event winner.

Satellites for the SKYCITY Deep Stack Series are on now and are held at SKYCITY Auckland’s poker room. Entry into the Satellites is from as little as $20 with $20 re-buys up to a $130 satellite event.

The Main Event will be run as a repechage event allowing players who buy into Day 1a and do not make the cut to buy into Day 1b or Day 1c for the full buy-in price – thus giving them another shot at making it through. The buy-in for the Main Event of the SKYCITY Deep Stack Series is NZ$550.

During the tournament there will be three side events.
Event 1 - No Limit Texas Hold’em – Saturday 23 March 4.30pm - $220 buy-in
Event 2 – Pot Limit Omaha (Second Chance) - Saturday 23 March 7.15pm - $330 buy-in
Event 3 - No Limit Texas Hold’em Super Turbo Deep Stack with 1 re-entry – Sunday 24 March 6.30pm - $60 buy-in
