The Biggest National Treasure Hunt Ever….

On the 1st of April 2013 The Nappy Lady and a group of loyal supporters are off to travel the country hiding treasure in every town they go through as part of International Cloth Nappy Week.

The Mums Secret team and The Nappy Lady have 10 days to drive from Whangarei to Queenstown and have 20 official events in between.

With $50,000 worth of prizes to giveaway at sponsored coffee groups and over 700 prizes to hide in the ‘Mums Secret Treasure Hunt’ along the way, they are sure to be a big hit wherever they go.

Treasure that can be found hiding around the country include things like Lascal Buggy Boards worth $179 each, a Grayco car seat valued at $450, birth to potty packs of nappies, tubes of Mums Secret cream and over 700 individual cloth nappies.

Parents who attend the coffee groups, dessert nights or Nappy Lady workshops will also be in to win at every event. One lucky family somewhere in the country will win a Bosch Front Loader Washing Machine valued at over $1700 at one of the events.

“Last year we did this on a slightly smaller scale and it was amazing the number of parents we got to meet around the country” says the Nappy Lady, Kate Meads. “We had over 160 parents attend our Auckland coffee group last year when we were expecting around 40. We even had parents waiting for us on the side of the road as we came through their towns.”

With the support of some amazing companies, this year will be even bigger. The team feels really privileged to have Mums Secret on board who is sponsoring the treasure hunt. Honda has provided a brand new Honda Odyssey to drive the distance in. Plus we have thousands of dollars worth of prizes from Bosch, Motorolla, Lascal, Mustella, Baby on the Move and loads more for giveaways at the coffee groups.

For anyone who wants to have a chance to win some of the amazing prizes that are up for grabs, Facebook is the key to the Mums Secret Treasure Hunt. (https://www.facebook.com/ClothNappyWeek)

Basically the Nappy Lady and her team hide a prize somewhere and take a photo of it in the hiding place and then post it on their Facebook page. The prize gets left there and the first person to go and find it, gets to keep it.

They have a full itinerary available on their website, www.clothnappyweek.co.nz, so that parents know when they are coming through a town close by. All of the coffee group events are listed here too, where they will be giving away even more prizes.

Excitement is bubbling as the countdown begins.
