"Wolf of Wall Street" Heads To New Zealand

March 19, 2013 – Media release - Fresh off the set from the cinematic adaptation of his international best-selling memoir, The Wolf of Wall Street, Jordan Belfort is heading to New Zealand to deliver a one-day only boot camp on his world-famous Straight Line Sales and Persuasion System, May 17.

Jordan Belfort’s Straight Line system is swimming in testimonials from global business leaders, with Belfort himself hailed as a “motivator without peer“ by Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio. DiCaprio plays Belfort in the upcoming film, The Wolf of Wall Street, slated for cinematic release in November of this year.

“Working with DiCaprio and director Martin Scorsese has been a truly amazing experience,” said Belfort from his home in Los Angeles. “Leo really nailed the role, especially some of the sales training speeches, which we worked on together for literally dozens upon dozens of hours, until he got them just right. His commitment to excellence is unparalleled. But now I’m hungry to get back to work.”

The books and film tell a cautionary tale of Belfort’s life, which he says he’s fortunate enough to get a second shot at. He says he now takes master classes in teaching anyone in sales how to close deals ethically and effectively. It’s a story he believes Kiwi audiences will appreciate most. “Kiwis get it that one way or another you will always find your own limits and have to work through them and then hopefully you’ll come out better and more humble than you were before.”

Belfort says for the first time he has combined advanced techniques in behavioural psychology and neuroscience with his Straight Line sales technique, to create a one-day boot camp that salespeople can really get their teeth into.

“The Straight Line System has been incredibly successful all over the world, in industries, and, if you’ve read my books or, certainly when you see the film, you’ll know that you can close any deal that’s closable with this system. I’m really looking forward to getting down to New Zealand to do what I do best—working with salespeople and entrepreneurs to help them raise the level of their games in a very big way.”

Belfort says that he’s only given one public talk in New Zealand before- and that was some years ago – so he’s excited to return.
