It marks the conclusion of NZ Music Month for 2013 and a new era for Base FM.

The team were under much deliberation allocating a name to this episode. There is a lot to say in one small heading. The dilemma came from the need to highlight the storyline, while striving to convey a message of lasting significance that stands for the evolution of Base. At last, the old ‘KISS’ method prevailed, leaving the viewer with one key message.

‘It’s a movement’ - is what it is. Patriotism aside, Base is going places. That’s a fact. 

Base is a buzzing hive of creative musical action that brings so much colour, diversity and personality to this street, this city and this country.  Episode 3 focuses on the Base community, with interviewees referring to Base as a ‘home’ for beat culture.

It’s radio resurgence in an honest fervent fashion, and they may be bias, but as Chip Matthews points out in the beginning of this episode; ‘It's the ultimate community radio station”.

“We’re passionate about sharing the webisode series as a vehicle to drive the Base FM vibes worldwide, and we hope that in doing so, more people will log into our ‘movement’ and share the good vibes with us” says Managing Director Jasmin ‘Jazz’ Ziedan.

The Base FM team sends out a special thanks to all Liberators, DJs, friends, family and greater community who have shared, updated, re-shared, hash-tagged, and posted the video’s so far, “You are the essence of BASE” Claims Jazz.
