NZ Fashion Weekend is pleased to announce all Sunday (8th September) designer runway shows and lifestyle seminars are on sale now through iTICKET

Joining the list of ‘Weekend’ designers is Charlie Brown, Trelise Cooper, Huffer, Allanah Hill, Gorman, Alma J, Crane Brothers, John Zimmermann, Sera Lilly, Robyn Cliffe, Vinka Design and Working Style.

Several seminars have also been added to the Sunday schedule including MAC Technique seminar, New Zealand Weddings Magazine Beauty Seminar and Remix Magazine’s ‘Fashion’ seminar.


SUNDAY – NZ FASHION WEEKEND

11.00am M.A.C Technique

Reinvent your look thanks to a workshop led by M.A.C Artists. Learn our backstage secrets, pick up techniques and be inspired! For All Ages, all races, all sexes. The sharpest, most stylish and authoritative way to take away everything our artists are famous for… their know-how.
Make an entrance and own the room. Whether it’s a casual get-together or a formal affair, we’ve got all the party and night-out grooming & beauty tricks you need. Lashes, liner, rouge… check!

12.00pm Lotto Presents – Trelise Cooper
Her gorgeous designs are worn by the likes of Miranda Kerr, Reese Witherspoon and Liv Tyler! Trelise Cooper makes popular style muse for women the world over. With her feminine styling and unique fabrics, this show promises to be an entertaining romp through some specially selected garments from the summer range. Trelise Cooper runway shows are sure to delight fashion lovers.


1.00pm New Zealand Weddings Magazine Collections Show
It’s enough to make any bride-to-be’s pulse race. This year at Fashion Weekend, New Zealand Weddings will unveil the latest gowns and suits, plus bridesmaid attire, flower girl frocks, floral arrangements and much more. Designers include Alma J, Crane Brothers, John Zimmermann, Sera Lilly, Robyn Cliffe, Vinka Design and Working Style. Whether you’re planning a wedding or not this is one of the most beautiful runway shows you will ever see!

2.00pm Company of Strangers, Cybèle, Kowtow and NYNE
Four incredible designers in one show! These celebrated labels have combined to present their Spring/Summer 2013/14 collections in one impressive group show that will no doubt sell out fast. Secure your seat and see some of NZ’s coolest designers rock the runway!

3.00pm New Zealand Weddings Beauty Seminar
Calling all brides-to-be, mothers-of-the-bride and bridesmaids. Get all your hair and makeup, skincare and fragrance queries answered in one comprehensive bridal beauty seminar. Find your big day beauty look and learn step-by-step how to create it. You'll be taken on a journey by the team of experts from Joico, Jo Malone, Bobbi Brown and Clinique – they'll give you all the prepping and polishing advice you need and reveal their best insider secrets so that you look your most beautiful for your big day debut.

4.00pm Lotto presents - Huffer
'Right Place, Wrong Time' Huffer Spring /Summer 13-14 Collection - It's always a gamble. Featuring both menswear and womenswear, Huffer know how to deliver a great show that always packs a punch! Look out for Lotto and Big Wednesday presenter Sonia Gray who will be representing Lotto New Zealand at the show.
5.00pm Remix Seminar
Kickstart your career in fashion! Whether you’re into photography, styling or something else fashion focused… Head along to this eye opening seminar and expect real-life, ‘no bullshit’ advice from a panel of New Zealand's leading editorial fashion heavyweights, headed up by Remix Magazine Editor, Tina Moore.

5.30pm Newmarket Show
Newmarket Fashion Central is working closely with some of their most desired designers to bring you a truly glamorous show. Alannah Hill, Charlie Brown & Gorman will light up the runway with their summer 2013/2014 ranges. What a great way to finish the weekend!

NZ Fashion Weekend – other cool stuff!

The Activation Lounge will be packed full of ‘wow’ factor with brands like MAC, MyBeautyStore.com, Osmosis Skin Care, KMS, Body Shop and Verdo Nails. Guests will be able to experience these brands first hand with one on one consultations, advice, competitions and gifts to take home. The area will also feature ‘Icing on the Cake’ a unique project from NZ Weddings Magazine that teams up some of NZ’s top fashion designers with expert wedding cake makers to create some of the most fashion forward cakes you’ve ever seen. Guests can vote for their favourite cake and also enjoy sweet treats and enter the draw to win one of these amazing creations. Another competition, run by the official printers of Fashion Weekend – Print Monkey, sees the winner enjoying a personalised shopping experience with fashion designer Adrian Hailwood and jewellery designer Nick Von K.

Fashion Weekend wouldn’t be complete without the Designer Garage Sale Back in full swing with New Zealand’s favourite designer fashion labels, menswear, footwear and accessory labels, this really is fashion lovers heaven! A long list of designers will be on sale for a fraction of the retail price. Shoppers are advised to come armed with their credit cards and a shop-till-you-drop attitude. Look out for new stock arriving each day.

Start your weekend off with a bang at the Red Bull Studios Opening Party. Friday night 6th September, 8.00pm till 11pm. Featuring entertainment, bands and DJ’s (soon to be announced). Rub shoulders with some of the country’s favourite fashion designers and VIPs. There are limited tickets available to the public and a high standard of dress is required.
