Check out what's happening in the Revolve world

Check out what's happening in the Revolve world

Despite a dire weather forecast, the weekend wasn't too shabby. Nicole's monthly excursion took us up to the Wind Turbine and down to Red Rocks. There was even a mobile barista at the top...setting a new standard for monthly rides, ha!

On the event front, it's that time of the year when we're starting to think about the Taupo Challenge! There are heaps of events (road and MTB), and we'll be throwing in a few rides here and there to get you ready for the big day. Check out more info about the event HERE.

Let's Ride!

THIS Thursday 8 August, 6pm at Polhill
Join Camp mum Faith at Polhill! Depending on group/weather etc. will probably go up to the Wind Turbine and back down. An intermediate ride, about 1.5-2 hours. Make sure you're night lights are working, and bring some warm layers. Meet at the grassy park at end of Aro St at 6pm.

Saturday's Weekly Road Ride
3 August, meeting at On Yer Bike
Join camp mum Natalia this week! We'll be heading to Eastborne for a coffee. This is a lovely flat ride (but does include a bit of the motorway). It will be approximately 50kms of harbor bliss :) Meet at 8am at On Yer Bike, 181 Vivian Street

Monthly Wainuiomata MTB Ride
Saturday 17 August, 10am
Join Camp Mums Anna and Agnes for the Monthly MTB Ride on the sweet trails of Wainui. All ladies of all levels most welcome :-) Meet for a 10am start at the Waiu St Carpark, Wainuiomata. No need to RSVP, just turn up! Any questions, just email Agnes on magryciak@xtra.co.nz or 02102342260.

Other Revolve Fun...
Makara Peak AGM
20 August, 7.30pm
Join the Makara Peak Supporters for their AGM, whoop whoop! This is when the Committee gives a round up of the years activities covering everything from tracks to conservation, and just as importantly, it's an opportunity for discussion on the Parks future development and direction. There's usually some snacks and soda pop too. Meeting will be held at the Karori Recreation Centre, 251 Karori Road, Karori
