Aussie TV Show 'Escape with ET' films with Epic Adventures

13 year old Tairua lad Jack Zimmerman got a once in a lifetime fishing experience last week when he got to spend the day chasing kingfish with Aussie league legend and TV fishing show presenter Andrew "ET" Ettingshausen.

The Aussie fishing TV show "Escape with ET" was in town filming an hour long show with Tairua based business Epic Adventures and Carl from Epic Adventures chose Jack to come along and take part in some of the fishing action. Jack ended up being star of the show catching and releasing 6 big kingfish between 14kg and 21kg.

The show should be an awesome showcase not just of the great fishing we have on our backdoorstep but showcase some of the Coromandel's amazing sea and landscapes, and hopefully attract more visitors from across the ditch.

In the past two months Epic Adventures have also lured:

• NZ Fishing News' Mark Kitteridge, who managed to catch and release a whopping 40kg kingi
• Australian Writer Sami Omari from Fishing World Australia
• Aussie TV Show Mark Bergs Fishing Adventures back for their third time filming with Epic
