Italian Masters at Waikato Home & Garden Show

Award winning chef and restaurateur Tito Cucciniello returns from his family home in Milan next week to prepare for a guest appearance at the Waikato Home and Garden Show.

Tito runs the famous rustic Italian eatery, Pane e Vino in Ponsonby. Renowned for his mastery with fabulous fresh and authentic regional dishes Tito was the expert Food Truck chef Michael Van de Elzen sought out for his own Italian master-class during his latest television series.

Tito’s regional Italian style cuisine is famous for his classic antipasti and pasta. Since arriving here from Italy he has won numerous awards and proudly claims Pane e Vino is the first rustic Italian restaurant in Auckland. His menu features artisan pasta from Italian master pasta maker Angelo Tredicucci, owner of Taupo based Pasta Mia and the two have teamed up with Otago’s award winning Kalex Wines and Tuscany Statues to create an Italian café and wine bar at the four day event.

Patrons can enjoy top class authentic Italian fare as well as sample and purchase boutique artisan pasta and sauces and fine Central Otago wines. An Italian fountain feature for the café is being constructed especially for the café at the Show by Tuscany Statues

The twenty- piece limestone sculpture weighing more than a tonne will be lifted into place the day before the doors to the Show open on Thursday October 3rd.
