R&V nominated for prestigious festival awards

New Zealand’s world-class music festival Rhythm and Vines has been nominated in the 2013 Festival Awards.

The prestigious and internationally recognised Festival Awards are an opportunity to recognise the hard work, vision and creativity of the festival industry.

The awards recognises the best festivals in the world and Rhythm and Vines has been nominated in the Best Overseas Festival category. 

The majority of the Awards are voted for by the general public through the Festival Awards website www.festivalawards.com/vote. Voters can choose to be entered into a prize draw to be in with a chance of winning two tickets to every winning festival for the following year.  The remaining Awards are decided by panels of renowned and well-travelled journalists, booking agents and other industry experts.

Kieran Spillane, CEO of Rhythm Group who own Rhythm and Vines said, “We are absolutely thrilled to be nominated for the Festival Awards, and recognised as a world class festival alongside some of the worlds greatest festivals.”
