Selby-Rickit to Join Silver Ferns team in Adelaide

Silver Ferns squad member defender Te Huinga Reo Selby-Rickit has been called into the Silver Ferns team as a precautionary measure after Silver Ferns defender Leana de Bruin sustained a knock to the calf at yesterday’s afternoon training.

Silver Ferns coach Waimarama Taumaunu said while de Bruin's injury was not serious it was important with three more tests against Australia over the next two weeks that the side had extra defensive cover to call upon if required.

Selby-Rickit will join the Silver Ferns team in Adelaide later today.

The Silver Ferns third Constellation Cup test against the Australian Diamonds at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre will be LIVE on SKY Sport from 11.00pm Friday night.
