The Thing From The Place

CELERY STORIES – UPDATE!
Celery is going into overdrive with parties, events and plays! We have a few great events that you can come along to this week, so we thought we’d give you a heads up.

The Thing From The Place

We’re so excited about The Thing From The Place, a brand new school holiday children’s show we have helped create with the Barnie, Trygve and Johnny at Theatre Beating.

Celery Productions designed a multi-level, adventure playground set for this show and we'd love for you to see it. Set in a mad scientists lab, the show is a hilarious homage to classic sci-fi and horror cinema, so we’ve been hard at work creating scientific special effects, buckets of green slime and mucous-juicing machines!
The show opened on Monday 7 October at Auckland Town Hall’s Concert Chamber for a short, 6 day school holiday season – so if you’ve got children to entertain these school holidays, we highly recommend checking it out!

Reviews are out and you can read more about the show and buy tickets here!

A Weird Night Out

A Weird Night Out returned last weekend to a sell out audience - 5 stages across 3 venues.
You can see how we transformed the spaces here and here and a review from the event here.
