Calling 80s fans nationwide!

Monday 9th December 2013

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Calling 80s fans nationwide!

Book your tickets, make your reservations as you don’t want to miss what is quickly becoming the Mecca for 80s fans in New Zealand.

The annual ‘BAYLEYS 80s BASH’
Is a monster 80s party & live music concert featuring ‘AutoMatic 80s’ with special guest Boh Runga plus DJ ’59 to 1’

Located in the sunny seaside town of Orewa 20 minutes north of Auckland this is the perfect destination for a nostalgic weekend getaway and night you will not forget.

The Automatic 80s Show features the very best of early to mid-Eighties New Romantic and New Wave hits, performed live, loud and pumping. The hundreds of hours of pre-production, musicianship and attention to vocal detail create an authentic live Eighties Music experience that leaves enthralled audiences exhausted and voiceless from dancing and singing. Be propelled back to the age of Synthplicity.

If you love the music of bands such as Frankie Goes to Hollywood, OMD, Simple Minds, Erasure, Dead or alive, Style Council, Soft Cell, Eurythmics, Berlin, Madness, Aha, Duran & many more! Then you don’t want to miss this event.

Formally known in Christchurch as Amez Amez in the 1980s, Automatic 80s is the rebirth of a world class group of musicians featuring the astonishing sound alike vocals and high energy stage antics of front man Justin Maclaren, backed up by the pitch perfect Pearl Runga (sister to Boh & Bic), drummer and programmer Andrew Maclaren (Stellar), guitarists Andrew Thorne with bassist Brett Wells/ Vocalist. The band will be joined by Boh Runga for a special guest performance for the Orewa Fundraiser show.
