New Campaign Set to Reward Kiwis and their ‘Caring Friends’

New Campaign Set to Reward Kiwis and their ‘Caring Friends’

Regardless of the age and stage in life, one element universally enjoyed by all generations is friendship. With summer on its way and warmer climes to enjoy, Visique thinks now is the perfect time to shine light on some of New Zealand’s greatest and most caring friends.

Visique is on the cusp of launching its Caring Friends campaign, aimed at drawing out the country’s most loyal, trustworthy and compassionate friends. With two separate chances to win a deluxe weekend holiday package for two (one weekend for two gifted to the winning nominee, the other to their nominator) it’s worth naming your favourite companions for the qualities that make them such a special presence in your life.

To nominate a deserving friend, simply visit Visique’s Facebook page and post the reason/s as to why they are a Caring Friend and what makes them deserving of not only a deluxe weekend away, but the title of New Zealand’s most caring friend.

Whether the nominee has been a supportive comrade through a difficult phase of life, served as a helpful ‘taxi service’ by taking others’ kids to extra-curricular activities, or never failed to provide dinner for a family of six every Monday night, Visique wants to hear all stories and see how the notion of friendship is being demonstrated throughout the country.

Visique CEO Brian Rosenberg believes there will be many heart-warming stories of Kiwis going above and beyond for their friends, to the point where they have become more like family.

“This campaign was inspired by the many anecdotal stories we all hear about people who go out of their way to help and support their friends – particularly in times of great need. This year, we wanted to find those friends in our community who make life that much better for our fellow Kiwis, and treat them to something truly special.

“As a business that prides itself on serving the people of New Zealand, we felt this was an ideal way to give back to the community and to take a moment to celebrate the idea of friendship. We are hoping to uncover some beautiful stories of generous, kind people who are due for some public acknowledgement, and to show what friendship means to New Zealanders.”

How to nominate a friend:
• Visit and like Visique’s Facebook page;
• Post on the Visique page to nominate a friend and explain why they are deserving of the Caring Friend title;
• Comment and share the post to inform others of the deserving friend.

What the Caring Friend nominator and nominee will win:
There will be two chances to win two deluxe Air New Zealand weekend packages for two – one weekend for two for the winning nominee and one for their nominator:
First draw: Winners for the timeframe 6 October – midnight 22 October to be drawn on Thursday 23 October;
Second draw: Winners for the timeframe 23 October - midnight 9 November to be drawn Monday 10 November.
