Summers set to sizzle at Mr Rental

With Summer approaching, Mr Rental is determined to see the tradition of the great Kiwi backyard barbie come out of hibernation, offering its customers the chance to win a Summer BBQ Bundle so they can fire up the grill again.

Mr Rental’s Product Manager Grant Peck said cooking outdoors was a great Kiwi art, but the biggest challenge for backyard chefs was remembering to fire up the grill after months of being confined to the kitchen.

“Whether you call it a barbie or barbeque – the act of cooking outside epitomises the Hawkes Bay summer lifestyle - and there’s quite nothing like sharpening up your sizzling skills on a brand new BBQ,” Mr Peck said.

“November and December can be an especially expensive time for families with summer and Christmas festivities, so we always see an influx in rentals with people needing extra fridges and Christmas presents.

“We are really thrilled to be able to reward one Hawkes Bay family with a brand-spanking-new BBQ bundle, which we’ll deliver and install, to ensure they have a summer filled with no-fuss entertaining.”

A Summer BBQ Bundle is up for grabs at each of Mr Rental’s 17 New Zealand stores, with each prize valued at over $1,000. Customers will be eligible for entry into the draw when they enter into a rental agreement between 3 November to 12 December 2014.

Winners will be drawn on Tuesday 16 December 2014, and will be notified by the Mr Rental store where they hold a rental agreement.

A franchise group servicing all regions of New Zealand and Australia, Mr Rental keeps life simple by offering a wide range of technology, furniture, white goods and fitness equipment for home, lifestyle or business.
