FAVRE
Swiss born Coco Favre is a multilingual,
multi-genre singer who has toured Europe, Mexico and North
Africa as both a singer and dancer. She has worked as a
session singer in Geneva, Switzerland and New Zealand, and
performed in numerous bands all over the world, including
THE FROSTED PENGUINS, DEBORAH, CLAVE LATINA, THE DAVID
FEEHAN BAND, her duet CAPRICORN CONNECTION and her hot
6-piece band MOCHA CHOCO LATTE. Coco loves sultry Jazz,
Blues, Latin, Soul and French genres and is currently a
vocal tutor, under the wing of acclaimed Wellington singer
David Feehan. Introducing.. Coco Favre is Coco's first jazz
album.
Reuben Bradley
Drummer,
Composer & Producer Reuben Bradley plays with the
'who's-who' of jazz in New Zealand, Australia & beyond. His
debut album 'Resonator' was voted jazz album of the year
2010/11, followed up by 'Mantis' which was runner up for
jazz album of the year 2013. In 2015 Reuben will release his
latest effort, 'Dark Energy' recorded in New York with the
stellar line up of Matt Penman & Taylor
Eigsti.
Ben Wilcock
Pianist Ben
Wilcock is originally from Hamilton but has been in
Wellington since 1999. His trio 'The Jelly Rolls' released
their debut album ‘Sneaky Weasel’ earlier this year, and
he can be regularly heard in many places in the capitol. He
is the keyboardist for Bella Kalolo and has worked with
Louis Baker, Aaradhna, and many other notable singers. Ben
fuses many styles but predominantly sights his influences as
Erroll Garner, Ahmad Jamal and Fats Waller.
Nick
Tipping
Bass player Nick Tipping can be found in
dark corners all over Wellington, playing music from jazz to
Tina Turner. Recent performances include an Australian tour
with jazz ensemble The Jac, the Dr Who Spectacular with the
NZSO, and regular performances with the Reuben Bradley Trio
in the
capitol.
