Rhythm and Vines 2014 Final Lineup Released!

Rhythm and Vines 2014 Final Lineup Released!

Rhythm and Vines is excited to add an outstanding selection of new artists to the final 2014 festival line up joining international artists such as Bastille, Netsky, Danny Brown, Just Blaze, Chet Faker, MØ and more.

The final lineup includes over 30 additional acts, bringing the total number of acts for the 3 day festival to over 75.

Included in the new line up is Chase and Status aka Saul Milton and Will Kennard. The London drum & bass duo have recently laid down the tracks that would make up their third studio album - Brand New Machine. The album that brims with surging, dancefloor anthems, dusty trip hop grooves, is an instantly memorable collection of swaggering cuts tuned to a club setting. Their platinum selling album stormed the UK charts to #2. For the best part of 10 years, Milton and Kennard have continually pushed drum’n'bass’s experimental spirit into increasingly brave, unchartered areas. Remixing for the likes of Jay Z and The Prodigy and now with Brand New Machine’s kaleidoscopic sound, they’ve rebooted their reputation as the one of most exciting production teams on the scene. Joining them for the DJ set will be MC Rage.

Retuning to Rhythm and Vines after an extremely successful year on home soil and abroad is brother and sister duo, Broods. They are the most celebrated young band to emerge out of New Zealand in recent times. Working with producer Joel Little (Lorde) they announced their arrival with glossy synth-pop ballads 'Bridges', 'Never Gonna Change' and their self-titled debut EP. They have performed across the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Along the way they've shared stages with Ellie Goulding, Haim, CHVRCHES, and just finished supporting breakout English pop star Sam Smith on his sold out US tour. They've also headlined their own sold-out appearances, and set the internet alight with their third single 'Mother & Father'. In August this year things went white hot for them with the release of their Joel Little produced debut album Evergreen, debuting at #1 on the New Zealand Albums Chart and #5 on the Australian Albums Chart. Last year’s Rhythm and Vines marked their first ever festival performance, and we can’t wait to welcome them back.
