In the tradition of the great jam sessions, Nathan Haines will join forces with the University of Auckland's favorite (and only) faculty jazz quartet for a night of joyous music making. This concert marks a reunion with Nathan and members of DOG whose collaborative history stems far back in the Auckland jazz scene. Albums 'Shift Left, 1994' with Kevin Field and 'Lifetime 2005' with Ron Samsom along with tours around New Zealand featuring Olivier Holland represent only a small part of projects over the years.

We are incredibly lucky to have two mad tenor players: Nathan Haines and Roger Manins together for a rare appearance and we're excited to share the event with the public through the live streaming.
