Can YOUR Kid Do That ?

Can YOUR Kid Do That ?

Come And Show Them Off ...

Do You Have A Budding Young Artist In Your Family? ..

How cool would it be to show a piece of their artwork off in a ‘real’ gallery!

The Upstairs Art Gallery is calling for our future artists to be part of a fabulously fun exhibition …

And come along to celebrate the openingNEXT WEEK on March 12th, from 6-7:30pm

My Kid Could Do That!

The show runs until 5th April – that means you can even get your busiest family and friends in over the Easter Weekend for those important photo opportunities and selfies.

Your child/grandchild/niece/nephew/kid you know, just needs to be aged between 0-12 years, and their creation can be a work for the wall (painting, photo, print etc…), or an object for a plinth (sculpture, etc). Oh – and nothing bigger than 500mm square (20 inches).

Don’t take too long to think about it – spaces are filling fast!

Registration closes THIS FRIDAY : 6th March. Click here to download a form

Last Days - Don't Miss It! ...

Booklets that have been borrowed from the exhibition 'library' will be coming back this week, so you'll have even more to look at if you come in for a second time - and it will give you a chance to check out all the messages that have been left by nostalgic and creative typists.

Not to forget the wall of small hand crafted booklets - many owners of the photographed feet have now popped their 'story' inside their booklets - to share with you. Each booklet is a collaboration of all 3 artists - photography my Sammy Milne, book making by Liz Constable and print making by Jo Constable. Cover photographs are of feet in our community - the owners of those feet are invited to leave a note inside that tells their 'feet story' - to share with our visitors. At the end of the exhibition, the owners of the 'feet' get to take their booklet home.

This exhibition is certainly something a little bit different with a focus on sharing and gifting, So be prepared to join in and help make it an interactive and fun event.

Open 7 days until 4:30 THIS Sunday, March 8th.
