The levelling of Puke Ahu
Bronwyn Holloway-Smith, Izzy O’Neill &
Elijah Winter, Angela Kilford
7 - 21 March, 2015

An Enjoy Gallery offsite project, The levelling of Puke Ahu explores the complex histories of conflict, labour, violence, and art that have physically and socially transformed Puke Ahu (Mt Cook). As the site undergoes redevelopment for the WWI Centenary, the work of Bronwyn Holloway-Smith, Izzy O’Neill & Elijah Winter, and Angela Kilford intervenes, questions and responds to these lesser known histories.
