Update, Speculation Quashed
MediaWorks today announced plans to appoint new judges to join Mel Blatt and Stan Walker on The X Factor NZ within 48 hours.
Co-Executive Producer of The X Factor NZ, Andrew Szusterman says, "There has been an incredible amount of interest from both well-known Kiwi artists and high-profile international acts who are keen to be a part of the show. We are currently testing a number of candidates, and will have an announcement in the next 48 hours.
Szusterman also said, “I also want to address some unfounded speculation that what unfolded on Sunday night’s show was in any way planned. This was not planned. It came as a complete shock, and as we have said and demonstrated by our actions, this type of behaviour is completely unacceptable. The speculation is totally baseless”
