Developing a Winning Culture

Developing a Winning Culture

Ant Carter, Director of the New Zealand Breakers will be the guest speaker at this year’s PAKńSAVE Kapiti Sportsperson of the Year Awards on the 13th of May.

Having won four NBL championships in five years, (2011, 2012, 2013, 2015), Ant is in a good position to speak on “Developing a Winning Culture and Building Success”.

Over the 11 years of the club's history, the SKYCITY Breakers have established themselves as a club who do things differently - the club values of One Team + Courage + Integrity = Champions are emblazoned on the wall of the SKYCITY Breakers' training facility and is the glue that binds the club together. "Team is Everything" is the slogan that the club lives by, and the unselfish, do-it-for-team attitude has become the club's playing style and image.

As guest speaker Ant will talk about some of the early lessons learnt, what it took to achieve the dream, some of the critical success factors that can be applied and what is paramount to be a dynasty moving forward.

An ex Royal New Zealand Naval Officer, Ant’s passion throughout his career has been helping people realise their potential.

Ant is currently the Managing Director of ‘Lateral Leadership’ and leads the Advisory Boards for the PAKńSAVE supermarkets in Albany and Kapiti as well as the New Worldsupermarket in Howick.

Tickets for the Awards 10th anniversary dinner are now on sale and can be purchased on-line at www.kapitispoy.org.nz with earlybird pricing available until the 30th of April.
