The Guardian

Noel Fielding, star of multi award winning comedy duo The Mighty Boosh, will tour New Zealand for the first time in April 2015.

Expect a magical mix of Noel’s unique brand of stand up comedy, live animation, music and some of Fielding’s best-known TV characters including The Moon and Fantasy Man.

There will also be muscular support from the loose stylings of Mike Fielding (Naboo/Smooth).

Despite his huge success as one half of The Mighty Boosh, “the funniest comedy double act in Britain” (NME), Noel has continually worked on his solo projects including two series’ of

Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy. Half live action, half animated, the series introduced some brand new characters including, New York cop Sergeant Raymond Boombox, modern day

“Don Quixote” Fantasy Man and Roy Circles, an anthropomorphic chocolate finger with shell shock. Described by London’s The Independent as ‘inescapably whimsical’, and by The Guardian as ‘a neo-psychedelic riot of mirth’, the show starred a number of The Mighty Boosh regulars and included music by Kasabian’s Sergio Pizzorno.

“This entertaining, infectiously fun show goes a long way towards re-establishing

Fielding as a dynamic and vital act”

The Scotsman

Noel’s additional television credits include The IT Crowd as well as appearances in Doll and Em, How Not To Live Your Life, and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.

He also co-presented Comic Relief does Top Of The Pops. Noel has also been a team captain on the last four series of the long running music show Never mind The Buzzcocks.

Noel’s film credits include the BAFTA nominated short, Sweet, the debut feature from Mighty Boosh director Paul King, Bunny And The Bull and Horrid Henry: The Movie.

Noel has held two exhibitions of his artwork, Psychedelic Dreams of the Jelly Fox and Bryan Ferry vs The Jelly Fox. In 2011 he released Scribblings of a Madcap Shambleton,

an art book of old and new paintings, drawings and photography.

An Evening With Noel Fielding promises to be anything but a normal evening. You’d be a fool to miss out, come along, bring your friends, bring your nan, fancy dress is optional - but be quick this show will sell out!!!
