Mother Earth Partners with Netball’s ANZ futureFERNS

Netball New Zealand (NNZ) is delighted to announce Mother Earth as an associate partner of ANZ futureFERNS, Netball’s official new junior programme.

Mother Earth are renowned for making delicious, wholesome food with great tasting ingredients and minimal processing, ideal for young budding Netballers and their families.

Netball New Zealand Chief Executive Hilary Poole says it’s wonderful to have Mother Earth on board during such an exciting growth stage in the junior game.

“More than 68,000 children up to Intermediate age around the country are playing Netball, which is an eight per cent increase from the 2013 season,” she said.

“We are anticipating numbers to increase and Mother Earth will be a key part of that growth by partnering with us for the new ANZ futureFERNS programme.”

Prolife Foods CEO Andrew Smith says the partnership with NNZ is a natural fit.

“Mother Earth has been supporting Netball in New Zealand for a number of years through our sponsorship of Kia Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic and we see great symmetry between the values of Netball and those of Mother Earth,” he said.

“The ANZ futureFERNS programme is a fantastic opportunity for young New Zealanders to get more involved in this great sport and Mother Earth is proud to be an associate partner of this exciting new programme.”

Mother Earth’s range includes bars, breakfast cereals, dried fruit, nuts, savoury snacks and spreads available at supermarkets throughout the country.

The associate partnership announcement comes just days after ANZ were revealed as naming rights sponsor of the ANZ futureFERNS programme.
