Still time to sign up for King of the Hill

Still time to sign up for King of the Hill

There's still time to sign up for next Sunday's King of the Hill event in Wainuiomata.

The event, in its second year, is an all-ages walk or run from the Wainuiomata township up to the Wainuiomata Hill summit and back. This year's course is slightly longer at eight kilometres but the uphill distance remains at the same.

People can sign up online at www.kingofthehill.co.nz<http://www.kingofthehill.co.nzz>, at the Wainuiomata Library on Queen Street or at the i-SITE in Laings Road, Lower Hutt. King of the Hill costs $10 for adults, $5 for children and is free for those under-five.

To date, participants range in age from eight months to 72 years old proving the event really is for all ages.

There's stacks of great prizes to be won:

§ There's $400 cash and a trophy for first man and woman home

§ A $50 Mitre 10 MEGA voucher and three-month Way of Life Fitness Centre membership for The Way of Life Best Dressed King

§ Accommodation at Rydges Wellington Hotel and a $100 Portlander voucher for Best Dressed Queen

§ A $100 Portlander voucher for Best Themed Team

§ A $30 Westfield voucher and three Reading Cinema double passes for The Hits Best Dressed Child, and
