PatronBase releases exciting new arts management features

PatronBase have just announced a new release that incorporates a suite of exciting new features, confirming the company as both relevant and competitive. “There are lots of exciting opportunities as technology evolves,” explains Founder and CEO John Caldwell. These new features will make the current processes easier, give more in-depth information about patrons, and offer brand new functionality to help streamline Arts Management processes. “It’s not simply about selling tickets, we enable organisations that live by performing to build their audience their own way,” says Caldwell.

PatronBase is a New Zealand owned company that produces software specifically designed for arts organisations to manage theatre and ticketing operations. The first iteration of the product was released in 1998 and has since grown a significant client base and expanded to 4 countries worldwide.

“Creative organisations are always dynamic and evolving, so we have to be also,” says Caldwell.

Caldwell announced the changes at a recent release launch to key industry partners. One of these was The Ticketing Institute’s Senior Consultant, Roger Tomlinson. Tomlinson was highly impressed by the new features, saying that PatronBase “defies convention”, by adding new features but still sticking to their affordability promise. This release focusses on the arts experience for the patron and their interface with the arts organisation; then providing the means to reach them based on a deeper knowledge and understanding of their attributes and behaviour.

The new Patron Attributes tools allow the creation of a detailed profile of any individual to add to other interactions, purchases and contributions to be visible in one place.

Updates to the Venue Manager module create a coordinated platform for managing resources and usage, room bookings and events across multiple spaces while being completely integrated into the ticketing system.

PatronBase has always focussed on not only ticketing, but helping arts organisations to build stronger relationships with their patrons. This latest release gets the most out of more touch points between the organisation and their patrons, both within and outside of the box office.
