The following information is a summary of Auckland’s city services and other information relating to the hosting of the FIFA U-20 World Cup quarter final match between USA and Serbia at North Harbour Stadium.

Match attendance

North Harbour Stadium reported an attendance of 10,985.

Traffic and Transport

A total of 1779 people used public transport to get to North Harbour Stadium for the tonight’s quarter final match.

Following the match special event bus services cleared patrons within 30 minutes.

Despite a number of incidents on the northern motorway in the hours leading up to the match there were no significant delays for event traffic.

Police

Police reported the crowd was general well behaved. Only one issue: a pitch invader, who is now in police custody and will be trespassed from venue for two years.

Other Emergency Services

St John - seven minor incidents (no further details available).

Fire – nothing to report.
