Patrick Godinet choreographs exhilarating Hip-Hop showcase

The upcoming dance showcase of Wellington-based Hip-Hop choreographer Patrick Godinet is not to be missed. The Dark Room premieres at BATS Theatre on June 24 at 8.30pm.

Have you ever seen a dark room? Or been inside one? What that ‘dark room’ might be is open to interpretation, but one thing to be sure of is that The Dark Room will offer you the chance to immerse yourself in a unique experience that combines an exhilarating storyline with a fierce fusion of emotive dance styles.

The impressive skill of The Dark Room’s Creative Director and Choreographer Patrick Godinet will be complimented by an extremely talented group of experienced dancers displaying the beauty of Hip-Hop.

The Dark Room will be a purposefully thought provoking and out-of-the-box experience,” says Godinet.

“This show will take you on a sentimental and reflective journey into the relationship and struggle of one’s mind and one’s self.”

Godinet encourages people to come with an open mind and to soak up the stimulating and dynamic essence of Hip-Hop.
