Auckland Vulcans v NSW Country previews and team lists

For immediate release

Thirty four young Auckland players will get a fantastic opportunity to represent their region this afternoon, when the Auckland Vulcans play NSW Country in a representative double-header.

The day at Otahuhu’s Bert Henham Park will start with the Vulcans U/16’s taking on the Country U/16’s at 3.00pm.

That’s followed by the feature game between the Vulcans U/18’s and Country U/18’s, which kicks off at 4.15pm.

The games are the conclusion of Country’s New Zealand tour, which included games against the Otahuhu Leopards last Sunday.

The visitors proved too strong on both occasions, with the 16’s winning a thriller 18-17 and the 18’s producing a classy showing to come out on top 42-18.

If you can’t make it to the games Auckland Rugby League will be livestreaming both free via their website, www.aucklandleague.co.nz.

For the U/18’s captain Isaac Ah Kuoi-Atmore is already playing for his Richmond club’s top side, and

standing out as one of their best in 2015. A clever dummy-half with speed and good vision, Ah Kuoi-
