FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

17 August 2015

New Zealand Fashion Weekend’s Designer Line up

Action packed and loaded with leading labels, NZ Fashion Weekend’s schedule is stronger than ever.

With less than two weeks to go, the biggest weekend in New Zealand fashion is an event not to be missed. The doors to NZ Fashion Weekend open on Friday 28th August, giving the public a chance to experience the very best of New Zealand fashion and beauty.

Across three days, fashionistas will be treated to a packed scheduled featuring a line up of some of New Zealand’s most sought-after designers, including Kate Sylvester, Trelise Cooper and Moochi, showing their in-season collections.

NZ Fashion Weekend’s opening night is the perfect girl’s night out. Featuring Kate Sylvester’s first NZ Fashion Weekend show followed by the official weekend opening party, this is an opportunity to rub shoulders with designers and local and international fashion media and celebs, while the Sweet Mix Kids DJ’s heat up the dance floor.

Saturday’s catwalk action kicks off in The Tent with the ever-popular Smashbox Session, giving beauty and make-up enthusiasts the chance to learn the latest trends and techniques from some of the world’s top makeup artists. And for those who want more, the M.A.C Technique Session is also back for 2015 with a spot on the Sunday schedule.

Fashion bibles, Fashion Quarterly magazine and CLEO magazine will bring their glossy editorials to life on the NZ Fashion Week runway, featuring in-season and on trend looks from the top designer labels such as RUBY, Juliette Hogan, TK Store, Zambesi and more.
