Wild Wheels at MOTAT for Father’s Day


From Minis to Mustangs, there will be something to excite all motoring fans at MOTAT’s Wild Wheels event this Father’s Day, Sunday 6 September.

The Museum’s extensive road transport collection will be complemented by more than half a dozen speciality car clubs displaying their vehicles. The Downtown All Stars covers band will be playing and a beer tent set up for the day.

Some of the car clubs which are rolling in to exhibit include: the Oogah Rodders Hotrod Club, the Vauxhall Owners Club, the Austin Flying A Enthusiasts Club, the Auckland Mustang Club, the Jaguar Driver's Club, the Rover Car Club of Auckland, the Mini Car Club of Auckland and the American Classic Car Club Waikato.

Plus there will be face painting and interactive activities to keep the children entertained.

Father’s Day is a great opportunity to celebrate Dads. So why not bring them along to Wild Wheels to enjoy an awesome family day out?
